Formula of a Hydrate Lab Review
Sadly, my partner and I didn't make it in to this lab. I learned what I did wrong from my partner, and benefited from a wrong-doing here than on the test. It turns out I plugged in the wrong number, writing a 9 for a 1, which made a crucial difference. I witnessed this lab from Eric and his partner, and have pictures thanks to them. The lab really narrowed down the concept that dehydration came from a hydrated substance.

I was very unsure going into the day of this lab, but my partner and I passed. The biggest part is making sure that you get the initial subtraction of masses correct before converting to moles. From there you just divide by the smaller number and round to the correct number of sig figs.
